Beginning his career in the U.S. federal system, Tom served as a Contracting Officer and Contract Specialist with the Department of Veterans Affairs, overseeing multi-million-dollar construction projects, capital-equipment procurement, and complex contract audits under federal acquisition regulations. He played a key role in automating procurement and inventory systems later adopted by other U.S. agencies, demonstrating a strong command of compliance, efficiency, and financial governance.
Transitioning to the private sector, Tom built a successful career in financial services, real estate funding, and capital markets advisory, establishing and managing mortgage banking operations and supporting investment structuring for institutional clients, where he was a direct affiliated lender for Lehmann brothers.
In recent years, his focus has expanded to international banking, trade finance, and digital financial integration, where he has developed innovative models connecting banking services with fintech and telecommunications platforms.
Having worked closely with the BGC Group of companies for nearly a decade, Tom leverages his extensive U.S. network and regulatory experience to support fund operations, investor engagement, and structured finance initiatives across North America.
